The main action depicted in this piece is the journey through life, the figure is walking away from a dark sphere of his past down the pathway that is life. The human condition that is being presented is that of perseverance, or making the difficult decision to follow a new path towards a better life. The central figure of this image is intended to be myself, over the past year and a half I have become a father for the first time as well as gone back to school to pursue a better life for my family.
